Mr. Kuppusamy planted in 2 acres of land with150 coconut trees, 35 mango trees, 12 acid lime , sapota , guava , jack, curry leaf, annual moringa, pomegranate, amla, teak and neem . Along the fences he planted bamboo, theprosia and subapul. Coconut seedlings are planted at a spacing of 20 ft x 30 ft. The inter space is filled with planting mango trees. After attaining maturity i.e., after 5-10 years, grown up teak, neem, theprosia, bamboo and subapul are cut and sale. Intercropping is done with Co-1 and guinea grass in coconut and mango trees . Ant mound around the trees increases soil erasion and thus stimulates growth. In his coconut plantation 2 coconut trees are not bearing nuts even after 10 years and some trees yeild barren nuts. For these above said problems , 5 ft above the ground level 2 inches holes are made in the respective trees. Next year onwards bearing starts. He collected all the farmyard manures and heaped at one sight .Stirring of FYM is done once in a month. Spraying lime water and mixing fertile soil to this FYM is also done. After 3 months this compost is used for coconut mango, and other fruit trees as a manure.
